First Line Fridays: Just Let Go by Courtney Walsh

FirstLineFridays

Hello and good  morning!

Welcome to First Line Fridays, hosted by Hoarding Books!

How are you guys doing today? I’m finding myself having taken too many books on to reive this month so I’m buried in books and trying not to feel overwhelmed. But hey, it goes perfectly well with rainy days so I’m not complaining.

I also found out I liked squash this week. I never liked squash so I’m not sure what changed. I even asked my mom for some for lunch today so there must be something wrong with me. LOL.

Anywho, time to share this week’s first line.

Hello and good morning!

Welcome to First Line Fridays, hosted by Hoarding Books!

This week is a special edition because Father’s Day is this Sunday! So a huge shoutout to all dad’s joining us today.

So in honor of dad’s everywhere, I chose to showcase a childhood favorite that features one of my favorite fictional dad’s. It was even a TV show at one point so you’ve probably heard it.

First Line Fridays: No One Ever Asked by Katie Ganshert

Hello and good morning!

Welcome to First Line Fridays, hosted by Hoarding Books!

Happy belated Memorial Day! I hope everyone’s day was splendid. The rain held out for a good part of the day which allowed me to be able to spend the day at SeaWorld with my family. They have a super cool deal going on for veterans right now. Veterans can go to the parks for FREE as well as up to three guests until July fourth. Busch Gardens has the same deal going on right now too.

On a side note, it has been raining every single day for over two weeks and I really miss the sun. I apologize for not participating in last week’s First Line Fridays. Every time I would go to write the post, a thunderstorm would happen and I don’t trust keeping my computer plugged in while a storm is happening.  It was the perfect weather to curl up with a good book or two so I accomplished finishing a lot of books this week though.

In fact, the book I’m featuring this week is one that I’ve recently finished.

In fact, the book I’m featuring today is one of the books I’m currently reading.

Hello and good morning!

Welcome to First Line Fridays, hosted by Hoarding Books!

Since Mother’s Day is happening on Sunday, this week’s theme is about mothers.

So I picked a classic that features one, my favorite fictional mothers. In fact, PBS will be airing a new TV show for this book. Unfortunately, I don’t have cable so I won’t be watching it, but I’m still excited about it!

Hello and good morning!

Welcome to First Line Fridays, hosted by Hoarding Books!

I pray that everyone had a wonderful time celebrating Easter with their families and friends. I spent mine walking around John’s Pass with my parents. If you’re ever in Florida, it’s worth checking out.

Since it’s Friday, it’s time to grab the book nearest to you and leave a comment with the first line.
