Jody Hedlund has been on my to-read list for awhile now and I was not disappointed. Hedlund has a way of story-telling that you keep you glued to the pages to find out what is going to happen. My favorite part was watching where each character started in the beginning and how they developed in the end. Many topics brought up were very realistic and relatable and will encourage readers. This is the third and final novel in the Port Aster Secrets series. This was the first of Sandra Orchard’s books that I have read. She does an awesome job recapping the previous books for the reader to understand what is going on. You don’t have to read them in order, but it probably will be best if you did.
