Genre: Young Adult / Fiction / Dystopian /Science Fiction
Series: Remnants, Book Three
Perhaps you’ve come across this series and are wondering if you should read this. The answer is simple: YES!
Fans of dystopian novels such as The Hunger Games, Divergent, The Gifting, or The Seers trilogy will gobble this one up. Lisa T. Bergren is one of my absolute favorite authors so I am beyond ecstatic to be sharing my review with you all.
I enjoyed the first two books, although it’s been awhile since I’ve read them so I forgot a lot of what occurred previously. You’ll definitely want to read these in order or you’ll be completely lost. Not only did I enjoy the first two, but this last novel completely blew me away. Read the rest of this entry
I Was Blind (Dating), But Now I See:
My Misadventures in Dating, Waiting, and Stumbling Into Love
by Stephanie Rische
Release Date: January 1, 2016
Publisher: Tyndale Momentum
Genre: Christian Life /Relationship Dating
Have you ever felt alone while it seems as if all your friends are getting married and having babies wondering if you’ll ever have that chance? Stephanie Rische completely understands. In fact, she found herself wondering if there was something wrong with her – was she not pretty enough? Not fun enough? Not datable enough? So she turned to God as she began to pray earnestly for God to bring the man she was meant to marry into her life.
Instead, she was given eight matchmakers.
I Was Blind (Dating), but Now I See is a true story about a young woman who tried really hard to find someone she could fall in love with despite the fact that she kept falling flat on her face. Amid the most cringe-worthy and awkward situations, Stephanie’s journey shows how God’s grace and love can meet us in ways we never could have imagined. We just have to open our eyes in order to see it.

The Good, the Bad, and the Grace of God:
What Honesty and Pain Taught Us About Faith, Family, and Forgiveness
by Jep and Jessica Robertson
Release Date: June 23, 2015
Publisher: Thomas Nelson
Genre: Biography & Autobiography / General
I am super excited to be able to talk about this particular book. I don’t really watch Duck Dynasty, but I do love what they stand for. It was really neat to read Jep and Jessica’s story, especially since they are the least known about in the family, having only appeared on the show since season four. Readers will love this read because it’s as if you are in one of their backyard bonfires and they’re personal friends.

Publisher: Waterbrook Multnomah Press
Genre: Christian Fiction, Romance, Amish & Mennonite
Series: The Zimmerman Restoration Trilogy
When I first discovered this book, I had no idea what to expect. In fact, I based it solely on the front cover. Kim Vogel Sawyer is also an author that I have never read, but she has been on my to-read list for awhile now. I didn’t even bother to read the back of the book. Read the rest of this entry
