Ok ok. You’re right. I’m not a kid. You’re probably wondering why I’m reviewing these though. Well, these are written by Natalie Grant who just so happens to be one of my favorite singers. Plus, these books are so fun and cute that anyone will love them! In fact, I’m giving away a copy of both books in the series to one lucky winner! Stay tuned until the very end to learn more.
The Glimmer Girls are Maddie, Mia, and Lulu. Maddie and Lulu are 10-year-old twins and Lulu is six. They travel across the country where they discover adventure, mystery, and mischief. Their mother, Gloria Glimmer, plays a similar role to Natalie Grant since she is a famous singer. The girls are smart and sassy but they learn about many lessons along the way. These lessons include being good friends, telling the truth, and a whole more. God is also a huge impact in these stories.
Also, a fun part of this series is that you don’t have to read them in order to know what’s going on. You won’t be confused if you read them out of order because each book takes place in a different country or state. Read the rest of this entry

Gone Without a Trace by Patricia Bradley
Release Date: June 2015
Genre: Ficton, Thriller, Suspense, Romance, Mystery
Series: Logan Point
Patricia Bradley’s newest novel is an edge of the seat kind of thriller that will leave you wanting to watch the villain receive the justice that he deserves. There’s lots of sweet romance. It is a tale of forgiveness and finding one’s way in the world. The characters and their stories are so relatable that it’ll bring it home showing us that no matter how much we plan our lives and strive for perfectness, not everything is going to go our way. God being in control is the main theme of the novel. The novel starts out slow in the very beginning, but it picks up and it’ll become impossible to put down. You’ll feel as if you are apart of the characters of Logan Point, Mississippi. Read the rest of this entry

Desperate Measures is a really fun, full of everything that a mystery lover is looking for, and a the perfect amount of romance. This is a must read series. This is the third and final novel in the Port Aster Secrets series. This was the first of Sandra Orchard’s books that I have read. She does an awesome job recapping the previous books for the reader to understand what is going on. You don’t have to read them in order, but it probably will be best if you did. I definitely want to check out the rest of this series! Read the rest of this entry
