It wasn’t my favorite because there are a few kinks that I personally think the author needs to work on, but otherwise, I really enjoyed it. It is clean, wholesome, and perfect for the whole family. Certain aspects of this novel reminded me of Divergent. This isn’t a review so that’s all I am going to say about it other than the book summary below. Although, I may review it later on for the blog.

Have you ever felt such sadness when a series you’ve come to love has finally come to an end? Well, that’s the case with this. “The Returning” is the third and final installment of The Seers Trilogy. This wasn’t Rachelle Dekker’s, daughter of Ted Dekker, best work. While I have mixed feelings (you’ll see why later), it was an excellent wrap-up.

Fans of dystopian novels such as The Hunger Games, Divergent, The Gifting, or The Seers trilogy will gobble this one up. Lisa T. Bergren is one of my absolute favorite authors so I am beyond ecstatic to be sharing my review with you all.

I enjoyed the first two books, although it’s been awhile since I’ve read them so I forgot a lot of what occurred previously. You’ll definitely want to read these in order or you’ll be completely lost. Not only did I enjoy the first two, but this last novel completely blew me away.
