Happy Friday friends!

Welcome to First Line Fridays, hosted by Hoarding Books!!!

It’s only a few days until Christmas Y’all! Are you excited? This week I’m excited to feature a Christmas themed novel that is on my TBR.

Since it’s Friday, it’s time to grab the book nearest to you and leave a comment with the first line.

The book I’m featuring today is:

Christmas at Carnton by Tamera Alexander

And the first line is:

November 13, 1863
Franklin, Tennessee
21 Miles South of Nashivlle

“Very nice stitching, Mrs. Prescott.”

Let me know your first line in the comments & then head over to Hoarding Books to see who else is participating! Join us too!

Meanwhile, have a merry Christmas and a wonderful new year! Thanks for sticking with me through another amazing year. Love you guys!

  1. Happy Friday!

My FLF comes from a book I’m reading now Secrets of the Tulip Sisters by Susan Mallery.

Kelly Murphy was willing to accept certain injustices in the world. That brownies had more calories than celery.

    Happy Holidays!
