Today’s topic is: Tuesday Talks: Favorite Wedding Scenes

Hey Guys! I’m so sorry that this post is super late than usual! I’ve been kind of procrastinating on this post because I needed to really think about books with my favorite wedding scenes. You see, every girl loves a good clean romance novel and weddings, but it’s been such a long time since I’ve read a book that featured a wedding at all.

But, there is a book that has a wedding that has never left my mind since the day that I’ve read it.

The book that I have in mind is called: “I Do!” by Melody Carlson.  This is book number five in the Diary of a Teenage Girl: Caitlin Series. It’s about a teenage girl, Caitlin, who we follow throughout the years of her high school and college life. She deals with real things that all teenage girls struggle with: purity, peer pressure, dating, etc.

The reason why I chose this particular one is that this is where Caitlin and Josh get married! Caitlin stands out from other girls because she wants the perfect wedding just like any typical girl, except she wants one where Jesus is the complete center. Her wedding is a simple, yet beautiful wedding because she let God take care of all the details. Her friends and family all pitch in to make the decorations, her best friend even makes her wedding dress, and it’s just simply beautiful.

What about you? What are some of your favorite wedding scenes found in books? (It doesn’t have to be the one I chose.) Let me know in the comments below!
