Today’s topic is: Favorite Fictional Worlds

There are so many fascinating fictional worlds out there. It was hard narrowing it down. Without further ado, here are my top five favorites!

Harry Potter Wizarding World

I always loved the Harry Potter world. Wouldn’t it be so cool to be able to eat some of the food that they portray in the books? Or to deal with the moving staircases? The whole world is unique and fantastic.

If you’re familiar with The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini, then you’ll know why this one made this list. Isn’t fascinating to live in a world with dragons and to be a dragon rider? There are also elves, dwarves, urgals, and Ra’zacs.

Narnia

There’s just something about the fact that Narnia was the world that existed outside of Earth but only certain people could access it through Wood Between Between the Times. Can you imagine walking into your closet only to walk into a completely different world where animals can talk? Imagine spending the entire day with Aslan or learning archery from Susan? Now that would be neat, wouldn’t it?

Middle Earth

Middle Earth is fascinating. You have hobbits, dwarves, wizards, dragons, trolls, talking trees, and etc. I wish I could spend time in The Shire while going on an adventure of a lifetime with Frodo and his friends.

River of Time

This one I’m not sure if it counts because technically all of the places that these books take place are completely real and still exist today. Everything else in the books is completely fictional, especially time travel, which is mostly why I’m including it on this list.  Wouldn’t it be so cool if you could just time travel to Medieval Italy or Alta California? I think so! There’s that dangerous alluring almost forbidden romance with adventure. I mean, who doesn’t love some Marcello, Luca, or Graco? Plus spending time with the She-Wolves would be even cooler.

Now it’s your turn! What are some of your favorite fictional worlds? Let me know in the comments below!
