War Room by Chris Fabry
Based on the Motion Picture by Alex Kendrick and Stephen Kendrick
Release Date: July 2015
War Room is a powerful story about Tony and Elizabeth Jordan. They have it all – great jobs, a beautiful daughter, and their dream house. Despite appearances, their lives are crumbling and their marriage is falling apart. Tony boasts in his professional success and flirts with temptation while Elizabeth is increasing in her bitterness towards him. Things begin to change when Elizabeth’s new client, Miss Clara, comes into their lives and challenges Elizabeth to start fighting for her marriage and family instead of against her husband.
Chris Fabry describes the book exactly as how it is portrayed in the movie. Every single line spoken can be found in the movie. It is a must read for everyone everywhere. It made me want to empty out my closet and pray. I love when books bring you even closer to God. You will laugh, cry, and rejoice. You will feel as if you actually know the characters. Miss Clara is probably my favorite. She is your typical silly old lady who challenges Elizabeth in her prayer life. We all need someone in our lives like her.
